Also a fisherman lodger in residence.

Wife FRANCES WILLIAMS: 1841 census - 50 years, dwelling Bucklers Hard with kids Emma, Thomas and Eleanor, also Kate Williams who I assume to be Frances's mother. 1851 census - Frances Glabey (missing s) 60 yrs shipwrights wife, dwelling Bucklers Hard (next door to William and Frances Read!) with son Thomas 19 and daughter Eleanor 15. Also 5 lodgers (4 fishermen and one sailmaker). 1861 census - Fanny 74 yrs.

CHARLES REDSTONE 1859: 1861 census - 1 yr, with parents and siblings. 1881 census - 21 yrs boat builder, lodging with brother George in Northwood.

ELEANOR 1835: 1841 census - 5 years, dwelling with mother, 2 siblings and grandmother. 1851 census - 15 yrs student living with mother and brother. 1861 census - 25 yrs, waiting on her parents, brother Henry also in residence. 1871 census - 33 years, living with elderly parents and brother Henry.

ELIZA 1818: 1841 census - 20 yrs, servant living at "The Elms", Millbrook, Hampshire. Possible marriage 4Q 1849 to either Francis Eastman, Charles Cannaway, Henry Lainson or John Slight!.

ELLEN 1862: 1871 census - 9 yrs, living with parents and siblings.

ELLE ELIZABETH 1872: 1881 census - 8 yrs scholar, living with parents. Married either Edward Alfred Neate or James Henry Smith.

GEORGE 1850: 1861 census - 10 yrs, with Redstone grandparents, 3 Medina Rd, Cowes, IOW - next door to parent. 1881 census - 30 years, unemployed shipwright dwelling Medina Rd., Northwood, IOW, with wife and 4 children as well as brother, Charles lodging with them. 1891 census - 40 yrs, shipwright dwelling 43 Clarence St., Portsea with wife Ellen and three children - George 16, Amy 14 and Arthur 11.

Beaulieu, dwelling 26 Medina Terrace with wife and 5 children, James Ben, Henry, Francis, Mary Ann and Charles. 1871 census - 44 yrs, shipwright dwelling 5 Medina Rd, Cowes, IOW (next door to wife's parents) with wife and 4 children, Frances, Henry, Thomas and William. 1881 census - 53 yrs unemployed shipwright living Dock Rd., Northwood with son Thomas (17). 1891 census - 67 years married shipwright living alone at 28 Medina Rd, West Cowes.

Wife HENRIETTA REDSTONE abt 1828: Daughter of Benjamin and Frances Redstone. 1861 census - 33 years. 1861 census - 42 yrs. 1891 census - 65 years seamstress (b. Gurnard, IOW) dwelling 1 Yew Tree Cottage, Albert St., with son William and Glasby grandchildren Elizabeth 10 and Ellice 5. Died 1904 aged 81 yrs.

MARY ANN 1857: Marian christened along with sister as a young teen at St Mary's Cowes.1861 census - 3 yrs, with parents and siblings. Died aged 30!

THOMAS 1831: 1851 census - 19 yrs, fisherman living with mother and sister. 1861 census - 29 yrs, agr. lab., dwelling (along with wife Eliza and baby Frances) with his in-laws Charles and Hannah House and their family. 1871 census - 39 yrs Agric. lab., dwelling Bucklers Hard along with wife and three children - Frances E. 10, Ellen 9 and Emma 7 mths.

Wife ELIZA HOUSE abt 1834: 1861 census - 27 yrs. 1871 census - Elizabeth 37 yrs. 1881 census - 48 yrs widowed fishermans wife living Bucklers Hard with daughters Emma (10) and Louisa (7). Two brothers and a nephew visiting.
